Cub Scout Camp

Cole had Day Camp yesterday for Cub Scouts. I am the Den Leader for Cole's cub scout troop, so I got to attend, too. The theme was Pharoh's Egypt. At the first "station", they got to have "chariot" races on scooters. The second station was Fishing, where they learned to tie a hook and cast a fishing rod. After that, they had Archery, Astronomy (where they got to look at the sun through telescopes) at an observatory at the College of Southern Idaho, BB Guns, Cooking (where they learned how to cook hot dogs over a fire safely), Sports, and Crafts (where they learned how to do leatherwork.)

The picture above is of Cole while he was at the Sports station running a really fun obstacle course. The temperature was about 95 degrees, but we had lots of water. I had a lot of fun and I think the boys did, too. Actually, I'm almost 100% positive they had a lot of fun!!!
